Remote Learning
At Banister, we have put plans in place to ensure all children are able to continue learning from home if needed.
The children in Year R will continue to use Tapestry as the platform for their home learning.
For years 1-6, we will be using Seesaw for home learning should we be faced with an extended period of school closure.
In Seesaw, teachers will be setting daily work. The children will be able to ask their teachers questions about your learning and teachers will provide feedback on work undertaken.
Further detail of Seesaw, including a guide to logging in and how to navigate the virtual classroom will be provided should the need to use the system arise.
We know that it is hard for some families to access the work that is set as other members of the family may need to work or learn from home at the same time. For those of you who are finding it difficult, please let us know as soon as possible in order that we can support you to ensure that your children can still receive a full-time education while at home.
